Logan Square Pizza: Personal Pies, Detroit Squares Or A Shared Round

Agreeing on pizza is easy until one person wants mushrooms, the other wants pepperoni, and neither wants to negotiate the whole pie. In Logan Square, start with the order format: Pizza Lobo lists personal pizzas, Paulie Gee’s offers Detroit-style squares alongside wood-fired rounds, and Middle Brow makes its own dough and adds a stated service charge. These three choices help you decide how dinner will work before committing to toppings. The prices below are menu references, not a promise that one pizza will feed two people.

Choose The Pizza Plan

  • Separate choices: Pizza Lobo’s 10-inch build-your-own pizzas let each person choose a sauce and toppings.
  • Detroit-style: Paulie Gee’s Logan Square has a dedicated Logan Squares menu, with limited reservations.
  • The mushroom order: Middle Brow’s mushroom pizza is a distinct order with mushroom cream, onions and fontina; count its service charge before comparing.

Pizza Lobo When Everyone Wants Their Own Toppings

The useful line on Pizza Lobo’s Logan Square menu is the 10-inch personal base at USD 11. Two plain personal pizzas total USD 22; the 16-inch base is USD 20. Both are listed with shredded mozzarella and a choice of red sauce, vodka sauce or garlic oil, with toppings charged separately. That lets you settle the topping argument by ordering separately, without pretending the two options contain equal amounts of pizza.

Choose this branch when the group wants control over individual orders. It is at 3000 W Fullerton Avenue, with daily noon-to-midnight hours, but the official information page switches to slices only after 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday online ordering stops at 5 p.m.; phone pickup remains listed. A USD 25 tab preauthorization is a temporary authorization, not an additional pizza price; tabs left open close with 20% gratuity.

Paulie Gee’s For A Detroit-Style Decision

Paulie Gee’s Logan Square is the choice when the pizza style matters more than everyone getting a personal round. Its Logan Squares section includes Easy Cheesy, made with white cheddar, whole-milk mozzarella, Italian tomatoes and Pecorino Romano. Wood-fired rounds are a separate part of the menu: Hellboy combines fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, soppressata picante, Parmigiano-Reggiano and hot honey. Choose the style first; the toppings can follow.

This is 2451 N Milwaukee Avenue, rather than the Wicker Park slice shop. Limited reservations are available, and the restaurant links a limited pickup menu. Current dining-room prices and its current dining-room service-charge rate were not verified, so it is not ranked as the cheaper option here. Monday–Thursday service starts at 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday start at 11 a.m. Use the regular Logan Square menu when planning the order; its listed specials have a separate date range.

Middle Brow For A Mushroom Pizza With The Charge Counted

The mushroom pizza at Middle Brow Bungalow puts mushroom cream sauce, caramelized onions, fontina, oyster mushrooms and chives on one order. At USD 25, it becomes approximately USD 30.28 after the posted 21.1% service charge, before tax. That is a more useful comparison than stopping at the menu price. The restaurant says no tipping is necessary; drinks and other food still add to the bill.

Choose 2840 W Armitage Avenue when that mushroom-led order appeals to the table. The regular dinner menu also lists a USD 23 margherita with fresh mozzarella and basil, approximately USD 27.85 with service. Reserve through the official Resy link and check the menu for your service: Tuesday is advertised separately as Tavern Tuesday, and morning opening does not establish that dinner pizzas are available then. The restaurant is cashless and closed Monday.

Settle The Format Before The Bill

For different topping preferences, start with Lobo’s personal-pizza menu. If someone specifically wants Detroit-style, choose Paulie Gee’s and confirm the current price before setting a ceiling. For the mushroom order to share, Middle Brow supplies both the ingredients and an added-charge rate you can actually calculate. Add sides according to appetite; there is no reliable two-person portion rule across these three formats.
