Our guides help you compare relevant places for a meal. A curated selection is not a statistical ranking of every restaurant in a city, and a directory listing is not a firsthand taste review.
Start With The Exact Venue
We match the name, branch and street address before using a menu, photograph, booking policy or rating. A different location of the same brand may have different dishes, hours and charges.
Explain The Decision
Descriptions should explain the restaurant’s menu direction, dining format and practical distinctions. Where supported, we add specific dishes, prices, service charges and meal windows. Unknown information remains unknown.
Show The Sources
Official location and menu pages support operational details. Separately collected platform ratings retain their platform, count and collection date. A restaurant’s own testimonials are not an independent review sample, and an overall rating is not a score for a particular meal.
Read Prices In Context
Our budget notes distinguish dish prices from drinks packages and service charges. Examples give the currency, check date and relevant exclusions. Prices can change after the check date; the restaurant’s current menu controls the bill.
Use Real Photography
We use authentic venue photographs with visible credits and source links. We retain branch identity and source provenance in our research record. We do not create fictional restaurant or food photographs.
Keep Guides And Profiles Connected
A recommendation links to its full Top Food Spots profile, and that profile links back to its relevant local guides. Comparisons use facts supported by those profiles. Guides are named for what they cover, without padding a selection to reach an arbitrary number.
Separate Collections From Editorial Guides
City and dining guides explain a meaningful selection. Cuisine, meal and neighborhood collections list the profiles currently covered, and show the actual number of entries. A small collection does not imply comprehensive coverage of its area.
Corrections And Commercial Influence
The initial selections were not sold as paid placements. If sponsored content is introduced, it will be clearly labeled. Submit errors through our corrections form; the research record will be checked before information is changed.
