Tacos In The West Loop: Build An Order Or Choose A Plate

“Let’s get tacos” still leaves a decision: different fillings one at a time, three tacos with the same filling, or a plate you assemble with a side. Around Randolph and Fulton Market, those choices have different costs and commitments. Tacombi’s Fulton Market pickup menu lets you count individual tacos or choose a plato; La Josie sells three of one filling; Cruz Blanca offers individual tacos and wood-fired orders with accompaniments. Decide how much variety you want in one order, and whether dinner needs a table or a pickup time.

Start With The Order

  • Collect an order with rice and beans: compare Tacombi Fulton Market’s pickup platos with its single tacos.
  • Choose three of one filling: La Josie’s dinner menu makes that commitment explicit.
  • Assemble tacos with an included side: Cruz Blanca’s wood-fired orders make three to four tacos, according to the menu.

Checked October 14, 2026. USD prices are food references, not a lowest-price ranking: Tacombi’s are explicitly pickup prices, while the others come from restaurant food menus. Tax, tip, drinks and extra orders are excluded. The La Josie and Cruz Blanca calculations include only the stated surcharge; rounding may vary on the bill.

Use the Fulton Market branch at 126 N Peoria Street, not a menu from another Tacombi city. Its official pickup menu lists single al pastor tacos at USD 6.29, black-bean-and-sweet-potato tacos at USD 5.99, and Baja fish tacos at USD 7.49. One of each totals USD 19.77 before tax, tip or fees; that mix is useful when choosing different fillings matters.

If you would rather repeat one filling and include accompaniments, the Al Pastor Plato is USD 17.49 with rice, beans and three corn tortillas. Three individual al pastor tacos total USD 18.87 without that listed rice-and-bean inclusion. These are different formats, not a portion-size measurement. The branch posts daily 11 a.m.–11 p.m. hours. For a restaurant meal, use the official booking information and confirm dine-in prices; the pickup figures do not establish what your table’s menu will charge.

La Josie When Everyone Can Commit To One Filling

The “Tres Tacos” section of La Josie’s current dinner menu means three hand-pressed corn-tortilla tacos, with one filling per order. At the 740 W Randolph restaurant, al pastor costs USD 24 and lists pineapple, guac-salsa, salsa roja and cilantro. Chepa’s Huerta, with Mexican squash, chayote, carrots, black beans and other vegetables, is USD 23; steak choices are USD 28.

Choose this format if a whole order of one filling sounds appealing. It is less suited to the person who wants three different fillings on one plate. Rice and pasilla black beans are each listed separately at USD 5, rather than included as a pair of sides. The October 13 menu posts a 3.95% surcharge and 20% gratuity for parties of five or more and all orders placed after 10 p.m. Use the official Resy booking link for your actual date. Weekday opening is 4 p.m.; this is not a weekday-lunch fallback.

Cruz Blanca When The Side Is Part Of The Plan

Cruz Blanca at 904 W Randolph Street has two taco routes, so specify which one you mean. The food and cocktail menu lists individual tacos, including pork carnitas at USD 7 and crispy shrimp at USD 8. Its wood-fired orders instead arrive with tortillas, salsas, onions, poblano rajas and one side; the menu says they make three to four tacos.

That second format is the reason to choose it when accompaniments matter. Mushroom and charred chile is USD 22, grilled chicken USD 24, and grilled ribeye USD 28 before the posted 3.25% surcharge. Do not add a separately priced side to the example unless you want a second one. The menu says the surcharge may be removed on request; it also adds 20% gratuity for parties of five or more. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. daily and advertises the full menu until midnight Friday and Saturday, useful when dinner runs late. Use its official reservations page.

Pick The Purchase You Actually Want

For collection, Tacombi’s branch menu makes a useful plato-versus-single-taco comparison. For a seated order of three matching tacos, choose La Josie once the filling is agreed. For the wood-fired meal with a side already included, start with Cruz Blanca. Let appetite determine the count; published service hours cannot tell you how long a table or an order will take.
