Choose The Format First
- A Badiali whole pie to collect: Use the Dovercourt ordering page. Slices are walk-in only and cannot be preordered.
- A smaller whole-pie starting price: North of Brooklyn Queen lists a 14-inch cheese at CAD 20. Its eight seats are walk-in only.
- A bookable restaurant table: Bar Poet on West Queen West offers Resy bookings with a two-hour dining allocation.

These are CAD prices for one whole pizza, checked October 14, 2026, with tax, tip, drinks and any ordering fees excluded. Badiali’s figure is from its live Dovercourt order menu; North of Brooklyn and Bar Poet figures are from posted menus. The sizes differ, and Bar Poet’s menu does not establish a directly comparable diameter. These are order examples, not a claim that each feeds the same number of people. Slice prices are not part of this comparison.
Badiali When You Want The Dovercourt Pie
Pizzeria Badiali — Dovercourt is the choice when the plan specifically calls for that shop’s pizza. Its live Dovercourt menu lists the 16-inch Original Cheese at CAD 27, with tomato sauce, whole-milk mozzarella, pecorino and Grana Padano. Pepperoni and vodka pies are CAD 32. The official FAQ says each whole pie is cut into eight slices.
The important fork comes before ordering: whole pies can be preordered, but slices are walk-in only. Limited seating is first come, first served, with no reservations. A pickup order secures an order arrangement rather than a dining seat; check the slot actually offered for your date. Meet at 181 Dovercourt Road, near Queen West, not the separate Markham Street location. Published Dovercourt hours are daily, 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m.
North Of Brooklyn When Pizza Size Is Part Of The Decision
At North of Brooklyn — Queen, the posted menu makes size a useful budgeting lever. A cheese pie is CAD 20 for 14 inches or CAD 27 for 18 inches. The posted cheese blend includes mozzarella, Grana Padano and pecorino. Pepperoni raises those starting prices to CAD 22 and CAD 30 respectively; dips and garlic knots are separate orders.
Choose this branch for its whole-pie options when your plans are near 650.5 Queen Street West, rather than treating every North of Brooklyn location as interchangeable. The official locations page lists just eight seats here, on a walk-in-only basis. If staying to eat is essential, that small seating allocation is the tradeoff. Use official online ordering and select Queen; do not assume a published opening time guarantees immediate collection.
Bar Poet When You Want To Plan A Table
Bar Poet changes the evening from collecting a pie to choosing a restaurant booking. Its menu lists the OG Margherita at CAD 23. Tomato sauce, basil and cheeses including fior di latte make up that order; sides and drinks are separate. The useful distinction is its official booking route, with a two-hour dining experience described in the FAQ.
At 1090 Queen Street West, West Queen West, seating is predominantly high-top tables with limited booths. The restaurant cannot guarantee a requested table type. Reservations open three weeks ahead at 8 a.m.; check the booking’s cancellation terms, including the published CAD 20-per-person fee for late cancellation or no-shows. The venue becomes 19+ after 10 p.m., and minors after 9 p.m. must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Start here when a table arranged in advance matters, and read the terms for the date you select.
Keep The Meeting Point Attached To The Order
North of Brooklyn’s Queen branch and the Dovercourt pair are separate meeting points. Send the address rather than “Queen West pizza,” especially if one person is collecting the order. A whole pie also needs somewhere to be eaten: confirm access to your destination before relying on outdoor seating or a small shop’s spare chairs.
For a Badiali slice, make a walk-in plan and check the price at the counter. For a whole pie with a choice of sizes, compare North of Brooklyn’s 14- and 18-inch options. For a table you can arrange ahead, start with Bar Poet and make sure its seating and age rules suit the party. Our Queen West planning page collects these profiles; the late-dinner guide compares explicit food-service windows if the meal has moved later.
How we chose: We matched the branches, compared official and authorized menus, and checked published seating and booking policies on October 14, 2026. These recommendations are based on research, not visits or tastings by Top Food Spots.
