Pho Tien Thanh For A Walk-In Pho

Pho Tien Thanh is the walk-in choice: its official site says reservations are not accepted. The house special beef pho lists rare beef, well-done lightly fatty beef, brisket, tendon and tripe, with four posted sizes from CAD 15.50 to CAD 20. Two medium bowls would cost CAD 34 for food before tax, tip or drinks.

At 57 Ossington Avenue, the restaurant posts daily hours of 11 a.m.–10 p.m., weekend cash-only payment and no separate bills. Sort out how you will pay each other before you sit down. Allow flexibility for the walk-in plan; we have not verified a wait time. The four prices above come from the restaurant’s current online pho category menu.

Read the pho menu and check Pho Tien Thanh’s visit rules.

Golden Turtle For Vermicelli Instead Of Broth

Choose Golden Turtle when you want grilled toppings over vermicelli. The CAD 19 chicken, grilled shrimp and spring-roll plate brings several toppings together with noodles, lettuce, pickled daikon, cucumber, bean sprouts, scallion oil, cilantro and grated peanuts. The pork, shrimp and spring-roll version is also CAD 19. Rare-beef pho is also available at CAD 16 if your companion wants soup.

Use 125 Ossington Avenue. The official website’s location data lists 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on its open days and marks Tuesday closed. If your pair becomes a group of five or more, account for the menu’s 18% gratuity. Substitutions and additions may also cost extra. The same menu flags nuts on vermicelli and shellfish traces on grilled items; check suitability directly if either affects your meal.

Lunch Lady For A Planned Shared Dinner

Lunch Lady is the larger-spend option when sharing is the point of the evening. The Toronto dinner menu lists the two-person Ăn Chơi spread at CAD 70 per person. Its CAD 140 food total covers taro chips and dip, beef carpaccio, octopus skewers, an 8 oz steak dish, garlic fried egg noodles and a three-layer dessert. The noodles list XO garlic butter, Parmigiano and a slow-poached egg; check that those ingredients suit the table.

The restaurant declines substitutions for this menu. Review every dish with your companion before choosing it. At 93 Ossington Avenue, the Toronto reservation page lists dinner from 5 to 11 p.m., last call at 10 p.m., and a two-hour dinner seating for parties of up to six. A booking link does not establish an available table.

Read Lunch Lady’s current Toronto dinner menu and check Toronto reservations and seating terms.

Make The Practical Choice First

For Tuesday dinner, Golden Turtle drops out of this shortlist on its posted schedule. For a weekend walk-in at Pho Tien Thanh, bring cash and make one-bill payment work for your group. For Lunch Lady’s shared menu, make sure the substitutions policy and seating time fit the evening before booking.

For a pair, two medium house-special pho bowls total CAD 34 and two Golden Turtle vermicelli plates total CAD 38. Both leave a much smaller food subtotal than Lunch Lady’s CAD 140 spread, which brings several dishes and dessert. Tax, tip and drinks are extra in each case.

Our Starting Point

Start with Pho Tien Thanh for a pho-led walk-in plan. Choose Golden Turtle when grilled toppings and vermicelli are what you want, checking the day first. Choose Lunch Lady when you want the shared menu to organize the whole dinner and its set dishes suit both people.

For a different Ossington order, compare dinner with a vegetarian friend or Ossington dinner for two.

We researched official menus, location details and reservation rules on October 15, 2026, including the public menu and hours data used by Golden Turtle’s website. We have not visited or tasted these dishes. Confirm current menus and hours before travelling.
